"A key lesson that was ingrained in us in camp this summer is how important it is to just be yourself and do what is right, no matter how much resistance or judgement you may receive from the outside. This attitude made the summer 1000% better; having fun, trying new things and learning not to take yourself too seriously-there’s no better place I could’ve been. The staff were unbelievable, the campers were literally the best guys out there and I made memories that will last forever. "

“Looking back on this summer, I think I can confidently say it was the best decision of my life to go to Camp Sdei Chemed. I wasnt sure what I was going to do this summer, and I definitely wasn’t going to be a camper in camp until Gav came to my school and put it in a different perspective. He said “it’s probably your last summer of your life, when you could be a camper, come to Sdei Chemed and make it the best summer ever”. Looking back, if I would not have taken those words to heart and changed my perspective, it would have been one of my biggest regrets. Gladly I went and had the time of my life, and created memories that will last forever. Between the trips, my fellow campers, and the amazing staff I had the best summer of my life. My only regret is that I won’t be able to do it again.”
