This summer, Camp S’dei Chemed is offering an optional one-week extension to camp — touring Italy!
Why Italy, and why this summer?
S’dei Chemed has toured Italy many times in the past, and it has always been a tremendous success. This year, because of the Jewish calendar, camp ends unusually early — making it the perfect opportunity to offer an exciting post-camp program for those interested.
Beyond the breathtaking scenery and fun activities, Italy is overflowing with Jewish history to explore and experience firsthand. Highlights of our trip will include Rome, featuring the historic Jewish Ghetto; Florence, with its magnificent synagogue; and Shabbos in Venice together with Chabad, which is truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We’ll also visit the famous islands of Murano and Burano, known for their glassmaking and colorful architecture.
The flight is covered with the camp ticket to Israel, so the cost for the extension is only $2,000 for the week.
